Bice Curiger
Studies in History of Art at Zurich University.1984 co-founder and since editor-in-chief of «Parkett», the book series with contemporary artists, published in German and English two times a year in Zurich and New York. Since 1992 curator at Kunsthaus Zurich, the museum of fine arts. Since 2004 also Editorial Director of „Tate etc.“ the magazine of the Tate in London. 2006/07 Rudolf-Arnheim-Professor at Humboldt-University in Berlin. 2007 awarded with the „Heinrich Wölfflin-Medaille“ of the City of Zurich, 2009 SI Award, Swiss Institute New York, 2011 Director of the 54. Venice Biennale.
