Gabi Horn

Gabriele Horn studied art history, history, and sociology at the Freie Universität Berlin; since 1982 independent curator (for example for the Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst); from 1985–1994 Assistant Director of the Staatliche Kunsthalle in Berlin; 1996–2003 Head of the Department of Fine Arts at the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture in Berlin; since 2004 Director of KW Institute for Contemporary Art / Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art. Curator of numerous exhibition projects (selection): Sigalit Landau: The Dining Hall, History Will Repeat Itself (in cooperation with Inke Arns / Hartware MedienKunstVerein Dortmund) at KW.
