Susanne Witzgall

Dr. Susanne Witzgall was born in 1966 in Karlsruhe. Between 1987-1993 she studied art history, art education and psychology in Munich. Since 1993 she has been an independent curator and writer. Beween 1995-2002 she was a research associate and curator of the Deutsches Museum Bonn and the Deutsches Museum, Munich. In 2001 she received her PhD in art history at the University of Stuttgart with the dissertation " Kunst nach der Wissenschaft ". Since 2003 she has been a lecturer at the Department of Art History of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Her work includes exhibitions, publications, lectures, selection committee- and appraising activities.
