Edelbert Köb

Born in 1942 in Bregenz (Austria), lives in Vienna (Austria).
1961-65 studied art, painting and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
1965-1992 Sculptor and conceptual artist. Work at the boundary of art and design.
1966-74 Assistant lecturer at the Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Architecture
Faculty.
Since 1974 Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna,
1985 -1995 and 1998 -2000 Vice-chancellor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna (Austria).
1982 - 1991 President of the Vienna Secession (Austria).
1990 - 2000 Director of the Kunsthaus Bregenz (Austria).
Since 2002 Director of the Museum of Modern Art Ludwig Foundation, Vienna (Austria).
