Reinhard Spieler, born 1964.
Doctorate in 1997 in Munich on the triptychs by Max Beckmann
1997-2000 research assistant for the art collection of NRW, Düsseldorf/K20
2002-2006 (founding-) director of the Museum Franz Gertsch, Burgdorf, Switzerland
Since 2007 director of the Wilhelm-Hack Museum in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and lecturer at the University of Heidelberg
Numerous exhibitions and publications on the art of the 20th Century. and the present, amongst others; Ich ist etwas Anderes (2000), Gerhard Richter – Ohne Farbe (2005), Franz Gertsch - Retrospektive (2005-06), Anton Henning (2009), Tatjana Doll (2010)
