Christoph Büchel
Christoph Büchel (*1966, Basel/Switzerland) studied at the School of Design in Basel, the Cooper Union School of Art in New York and the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf, Germany. He lives and works in Basel.
The Swiss conceptual artist focuses on themes that deal with political and social circumstances. Büchel arranges and furnishes rooms with such detail, that the visitor is made into a voyeur and explorer of a fictional and narrative world.
