My background is in dance (dance as a space for thinking the body, not as movement). I am really interested in the fact of observing, in ocularity, in the politics of watching and the politics of perception. I dive between philosophical questions (where are we when dancing? where does movement start? what is a form hiding when it is shown?) and the – absurd – pure action: exercise, sports, labour, meditation. I am also interested in the archaeological possibilities of the theatre space. I like effort. My works are either extreme physical experiences or ambients to be occupied by the audience and in both cases my task consists more in the production of an experience (in time) rather than an object. My practice basically involves humans all the time: performers and audience, and following those relationships is what it’s all about, those are the moments when I am more challenged. I am very interested in having and raising cosmic awareness through what I do. I am self-taught and I am in process.
