Juan Diego Tobalina is a multidisciplinary artist, Barcelona University graduate (2008), having studied for the first half of his career at Catolica University in Lima (2000 – 2003).

His work has been shown in exhibitions throughout Spain, Peru, Italy, Denmark and other Latin American countries. He’s been awarded with the “Pasaporte para un Artista 2012” prize, organised by the French Embassy in Peru, and the French Allianz Program which led to a residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, in 2013.

Among his exhibitions he has had solo shows “La Configuración Verosímil” (L´Imaginaire Gallery, Lima 2013), “No Todo lo que Brilla” (NNM Studio Residence and Solo Show, 2013) “Hiperrealidades (Simulacros en órbita)” (Galería 80m2 – Livia Benavides, Lima 2012) and “DEADLINE” (Telefonica Foundation in Lima 2012),
